Directly in front of Bruneck’s front door are the roundtrip trails of the Reischach Sportpark. They are carefully groomed every day. The cross-country ski trails are provided with man-made snow as necessary and may be used free of charge.

You can always count on the winter temperatures in the Kronplatz region. When the days get shorter, the natural outdoor skating areas in and around Bruneck freeze solid. Young and old alike sharpen up the ice skates and hang out in Reischach at the Eislaufring until well into the night, or else at the Eislaufplatz. Within the immediate vicinity of Bruneck, there are also natural outdoor skating areas: in S. Lorenzo-St. Lorenzen, Gais, and Falzes-Pfalzen.

Sledding around Bruneck

There are as many sled runs in the entire Kronplatz region as there is snow in the winter. Even those staying in Bruneck don’t have to travel far for a proper sledding party. The hilly forests around Bruneck offer numerous starting points to descend. Short? Long? For working up a sweat? Too lazy to hike? Night sledding? Korer in Reischach for every possibility, Bruneck has the right slope or run prepared.

Anyone who enjoys hiking in the summer does not have to do without it in the winter. Many groomed hiking trails offer the possibility throughout the winter months of experiencing nature in its snow-covered grandeur right up close.
